It was then that I realized what a good routine could do for not only parents, but also the care givers. I would find myself babysitting for families and not wanting to return to those that had children that were difficult to put to sleep. After much thought and consideration, I began looking into sleep certification programs so I could help other families and nannies have happy, sleeping children. Not only do the parents and children benefit from great sleep, but also all the friends, babysitters and grandparents who watch these children.
After doing my research, I found Family Sleep Institute and instantly knew I wanted to be a part of their program! I loved their approach, how they did not believe in following a clock but rather sleepy cues. I also liked how they continue to be by your side even after graduation. I was accepted into the program and became a Certified Sleep Coach in July 2020. I have a large range of childhood development course work including, SIDS and SUIDS, sleep issues in children with special needs, childcare, bedtime battles, potty training, parent coaching, as well as working with the entire family to achieve healthy sleep. I am so excited to officially be helping as many families as I can.
When I am not having fun with my nanny family’s children or working with sleep, I enjoy performing in musicals, traveling the world, cooking, and taking my sweet Irish Doodle to the park. I continuously pursue ongoing education so that I can give your family the most up to date information about infant and toddler sleep. I am thrilled to welcome you to Little Red’s Pediatric Sleep Consulting, and I cannot wait to help your entire family get the sleep they all deserve.
